🔒 The Franco-German University supports the 7th edition of Future-IoT (FIoT7)
The Cyber CNI Chair (IMT Atlantique) is pleased to announce the support of the Franco-German University (UFA in French, or DFH in German) for the 7th edition of the “Future-IoT” PhD school on the theme: “Safe and Smart Regions.”

Since 2018, the UFA has been actively supporting Future-IoT. Several editions have been selected by this label, which is a guarantee of excellence and quality. This support illustrates the shared interest between France and Germany in training young researchers in key technological fields, focusing on IT and OT systems, including the Internet of Things (IoT), with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity.
What is the UFA? 🇫🇷🇩🇪
Founded in 1997, the Franco-German University is a unique institution. It promotes academic and scientific cooperation between France and Germany.
It supports numerous projects: dual degrees, summer schools, joint thesis supervision, scientific events, etc.
The UFA also encourages student mobility and collaboration between institutions. It works to promote a Europe of knowledge based on innovation and excellence.

Future-IoT: a PhD school for innovating together
Future-IoT is an international doctoral school organized each year by the Cyber CNI Chair (IMT Atlantique). It is run in collaboration with the Technische Universität München and the German-French Academy for the Industry of the Future, as well as several industrial players. The event brings together doctoral students, researchers, and industrial and institutional experts who, together, explore the major challenges related to the IoT and cybersecurity.

Future-IoT offers a comprehensive immersion experience. The program includes conferences, practical workshops, forums, and networking opportunities. The school encourages interdisciplinarity, innovation, and scientific exchange between France and Germany in the field of research.

Originally scheduled for August 20-26, 2025, the 7th edition of Future-IoT has been postponed to 2026 to offer you an international event supported by the Franco-German University.
