CyberSecDome: the second phase of the Open Call continues !

The European CyberSecDome project, of which IMT Atlantique is a partner, has launched the second phase of its Open Call. Cybersecurity stakeholders have five days left to submit their applications, join the project, and test the platform in real-world environments.

Call for projects to strengthen cybersecurity in Europe

CyberSecDome, funded by the Horizon Europe program, aims to strengthen the resilience and security of critical digital infrastructures through an innovative approach combining artificial intelligence for incident detection and response, digital twins and cyber ranges to simulate threats, and immersive virtual and extended reality (VR/XR) interfaces to improve security analysts’ understanding and collaboration.

Key information about the second Open Call

Applications are open until September 30, 2025, at 5 p.m. (Brussels time). The total budget available is approximately €1,200,000, with a maximum funding of €120,000 per project. Selected projects will start on December 1, 2025, and continue until August 2026.

Eligibility

  • Open to organizations and individuals from EU Member States and countries associated with Horizon Europe.
  • Participants from non-associated countries outside the EU, in particular the United Kingdom and Switzerland, may apply but are not eligible for funding due to Horizon Europe regulations in force since 2023.
  • Applications may be submitted individually, in pairs, or in consortia of up to three organizations.
  • Each consortium must include at least one SME among its members.
  • All consortium partners must meet the eligibility criteria and contribute to the project’s objectives.
