Chaire Cyber CNI – Cybersecurity for Critical Networked Infrastructures

CyberSecDome : an impressive demonstration at Research Update

The CyberSecDome project was presented by IMT Atlantique and Airbus Defense and Space Cyber during the Research Update – Fall 2025 event organized by the Chair in Cybersecurity for Critical National Infrastructure (Cyber CNI). This exchange provided an opportunity to highlight an ambitious European project dedicated to cyber resilience.

A European project to strengthen cybersecurity

CyberSecDome is a research and innovation project supported by the European Union.
It aims to strengthen the resilience of critical infrastructure through a collaborative cyber defense ecosystem.

The project relies on advanced simulation, artificial intelligence, and automated incident response. This improves threat detection and enables a faster response to attacks.

Furthermore, by combining digital twins, threat intelligence, and cross-sector cooperation, CyberSecDome helps build a more secure and resilient cyber-physical environment. This approach promotes collective and proactive defense.

During the Research Update, the partners presented the project’s objectives, technical architecture, and initial results. A live demonstration illustrated the concrete advances made by CyberSecDome.

This initiative is fully in line with the mission of the Cyber CNI Chair. Indeed, it aims to bring academic research and industrial needs closer together in order to meet the challenges of cybersecurity for critical infrastructures.

In addition, many industrial and academic experts and stakeholders in the field of cybersecurity were present. Their participation demonstrates the keen interest in the collaborative and innovative approaches proposed by the project.

About CyberSecDome

Funded by the Horizon Europe program, CyberSecDome brings together a European consortium of research institutes, manufacturers, and cybersecurity experts. Its goal is to develop real-time cyber defense solutions and resilience testing tools for complex systems. Ultimately, the project aims to build a safer and more resilient Europe in the face of digital threats.
