Marc-Oliver Pahl appointed « Technical Program Co-Chairs » for NOMS 2026

The Cyber CNI Chair is proud to announce that its holder, Marc-Oliver Pahl, has been appointed Technical Program Co-Chair of IEEE/IFIP NOMS 2026, the world’s leading event in network and service management, operation, and security.

Organized since 1988, NOMS (Network Operations and Management Symposium) brings together the leading academic and industrial players in the field for each edition. The 2026 edition will be held from May 18 to 22 in Rome, focusing on the theme “AI for Management and Management for AI,” which reflects the major challenges of AI applied to the digital infrastructures of tomorrow.

A leading scientific role

As Technical Program Co-Chair, Marc-Oliver Pahl plays a central role in the scientific organization of the symposium.

In particular, he contributes to :

defining the scientific directions for the 2026 edition,
supervising the international scientific committee,
overseeing the peer review process,
selecting the contributions to be presented at the conference.

This role, comparable to that of a scientific director, guarantees the quality and excellence of the selected work and helps guide the debates and innovations that will shape the international community.
