Looking back on the 8ᵉ edition of the Manage-IoT workshop – May 12, 2025, Honolulu
On May 12, 2025, the Manage-IoT workshop held its 8ᵉ edition in Honolulu, alongside the IEEE/IFIP NOMS 2025 symposium. Every year, this event brings together specialists in the management of IoT networks, services and systems.

A workshop geared towards Industry 5.0
The 2025 edition focused on intent-based management in distributed and heterogeneous IoT systems. This theme is fully in line with the challenges of Industry 5.0, which combines connectivity, autonomy and distributed intelligence.
The presentations covered a wide range of topics. These included service orchestration, security, interoperability and system resilience. Several concrete demonstrations illustrated innovative approaches.
A direct contribution to the Chair
This workshop is in line with the Chair’s priorities.
On the one hand, it offers high visibility in a community specialized in operations and infrastructure management. Secondly, it offers advanced results on securing distributed heterogeneous systems.

An open, collaborative dynamic
Manage-IoT 2025 encouraged exchanges between researchers, engineers and industrialists. The working atmosphere was both rigorous and collaborative. It enabled new research perspectives to emerge.
