Marc-Oliver Pahl publishes on AI and defense

An initiative of the Cyber center of excellence
The Cyber center of excellence has brought together top experts for a publication dedicated to trusted artificial intelligence (AI) applied to defense. This initiative, coordinated by Karl Neuberger (Vice President at Capgemini Invent France) and Olivier Denti (Data / AI Director at Capgemini Invent France), brings together 28 articles written by specialists in the cyber field.
The aim is clear: to offer a panorama of current issues linked to trusted AI in sensitive areas, such as defense. This approach encourages dialogue between researchers, manufacturers and operational staff on ethical, technical and strategic issues.
Prof. Marc-Oliver Pahl on AI in cybersecurity
Prof. Marc-Oliver Pahl, holder of the Cyber CNI Chair at IMT Atlantique, has written a remarkable article. Entitled “The influence of AI on cybersecurity: challenges and opportunities from a research point of view”, his text provides an in-depth analysis of the transformations brought about by AI in the sector.
He explains that cyber attackers are already using AI to automate and sophisticate their attacks. For example, they exploit adaptive malware or spread AI-generated disinformation. At the same time, AI also offers powerful levers for defense :

The key issue : building trust in AI
