Workshop – AIMLOps 2026: Artificial Intelligence and MLOps for Autonomous Networks
The AIMLOps 2026 workshop will take place in Rome, co-located with IEEE/IFIP NOMS 2026 (18–22 May 2026). The event explores the convergence between AI-driven network management and MLOps — two essential pillars for autonomous networks, intelligent services, and 6G/IoT infrastructures.
Why AIMLOps ?
AI is transforming the way networks are managed, secured and optimised. But this evolution brings with it a second challenge: mastering the AI/ML pipelines themselves. AIMLOps 2026 fits squarely into this key space :
- AI for Management : using AI to operate, supervise and automate networks and services;
- Management for AI : managing the lifecycle of models (MLOps, AIOps, LLM-Ops), ensuring their reliability, security and compliance.
This dual perspective makes the workshop a privileged forum for researchers and industrialists who are shaping the next generation of autonomous network management.
Areas of contribution
AIMLOps covers a wide range of emerging topics such as :
- Generative AI and LLMs for orchestration, intent-based networking, security and predictive maintenance.
- Deep Reinforcement Learning for dynamic optimisation, QoS/QoE and adaptive resource management.
- Autonomous & zero-touch management, anomaly detection, defence-in-depth, and AI for cybersecurity.
- MLOps / AIOps / LLM-Ops: deployment, monitoring, explainability, evaluation, model security.
- Governance, privacy-preserving AI, robustness against adversarial attacks.
Research articles, position papers, demonstrations and feedback are welcome (6 pages, IEEE format).
Publication
Accepted papers will be published in the NOMS 2026 proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore, providing international visibility.
