The IMT Atlantique Cyber CNI Chair will be at the heart of the 10th edition of European Cyber Week, from November 17 to 20, 2025, in Rennes. The program will include demonstrations, conferences, and discussions on the major challenges of cybersecurity and the resilience of critical infrastructure.

The CyberSecDome project was presented by IMT Atlantique and Airbus during the Cyber CNI Chair’s Research Update. This European project aims to strengthen the resilience of critical infrastructure through a collaborative cyber defense ecosystem, combining artificial intelligence, advanced simulations, and automated incident response. The demonstration illustrated the concrete progress made by the project and the keen interest shown by industrial and academic players in this innovative approach.
The Cyber CNI Fall 2025 Research Update was held on September 30 at Airbus Defense & Space and Airbus Protect. The event brought together researchers and industry partners to discuss the latest advances in cybersecurity, with presentations, posters, and collaborative workshops.
The Gesellschaft für Informatik e.V. (GI) held its 110th presidium meeting in Siegburg, focusing on key IT topics such as administrative IT education, sustainable development, and community building. Professor Marc-Oliver Pahl, Cyber CNI Chair, actively contributed valuable insights to the discussions.
The Future-IoT Summer School returns from August 20 to 26, 2025, in Scharbeutz, Germany. This international event brings together students, researchers, and professionals to explore how to secure tomorrow’s connected regions. Through talks, workshops, and real-world projects, participants will tackle the challenges of smart, safe, and sustainable technologies—all in a unique seaside setting. From April 9 to 11, 2025, Fabien Eyssartier, XR engineer for the CNI Cyber Chair, took part in Laval Virtual, a major trade fair for immersive technologies. This immersion enabled him to identify promising XR innovations for cybersecurity, such as digital twins for industrial systems or adaptive environments based on emotions. These discoveries feed into the work of the Chair, notably as part of the CyberSecDome project, and open up new prospects for collaboration and technology watch.

Le 21 février 2025, la Chaire Cyber CNI a tenu sa première Research Update de l’année au Campus Cyber. La journée a mis en avant les avancées en cybersécurité des infrastructures critiques, avec des présentations sur les SBOMs, la désinformation par IA, les honeynets, les jumeaux numériques et l’impact de l’informatique quantique.
Un Think Tank a ensuite permis d’approfondir ces enjeux et de renforcer les collaborations. Cette édition a confirmé la dynamique de la Chaire et donné rendez-vous pour la suite.
Lors de l’European Cyber Week 2024, la Chaire Cyber CNI a joué un rôle clé en collaborant avec le COMCYBER pour mettre en lumière les synergies entre les chaires de cyberdéfense et les forces armées. À travers des démonstrations immersives et des échanges stratégiques, cet événement a souligné l’importance de l’innovation et de la collaboration pour renforcer la cybersécurité.
