Final year student project – Autoprotection : éthique VS agents autonomes et algorithmes
The chair cyberCNI.fr is also active in teaching. The final year student project “Autoprotection : éthique VS agents autonomes et algorithmes” looks at an important aspect of our technology-dependent world: ethical aspects of autonomous functionality. Good examples are self-driving / autonomous cars, building automation, or production sites. Maintaining and increasing cybersecurity are a key goals for autonomous functionality. The “Projet S5” is the final year project of the engineering students at IMT Atlantique (Technical University). Supervised by Marc-Oliver Pahl and Thibault de Swarte, the students BERTAUD Donatien BOIRE Valéry EL BOUJARFAOUI Imane TRITARELLI Vincent are working the whole semester once a week on the problematics.
The students all come from different study directions, enriching the exchanges a lot. The presentation introduces to relevant aspects of autonomous systems and ethics. The students discuss central questions and their preliminary results to them.
