Horizon Europe CyberSecDome progressing in Rennes
We were delighted to welcome Mohammad Hamad from TU München to IMT Atlantique in Rennes for productive two weeks joint work on our Horizon Europe CyberSecDome project. Together with him and all the other excellent consortium partners, we’re advancing a visionary initiative that integrates AI and virtual reality to transform cybersecurity.
Our collaboration is driving real-time insights, enhancing situational awareness, and fostering collaborative responses to threats. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Mohammad for his valuable contributions, and we’re excited about the progress we’re making together.

About the CyberSecDome project
In today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, organizations across sectors are embracing digital transformation to fuel innovation, optimize services, and elevate customer experiences. Spearheaded by MAGGIOLI SPA, renowned for its expertise in managing complex R&D projects, this endeavor promises to redefine the cybersecurity landscape, ensuring a safer and more secure digital future for all.

Marc-Oliver is an adjunct professor of Carleton University in Canada. Marc-Oliver’s research focus is on a holistic approach to cybersecurity. He is an experienced teacher and an eLearning pioneer, holding several teaching awards.
Marc-Oliver holds a Diploma from University of Tübingen and a PhD from Technical University of Munich.
Marc-Oliver is Vice President of the German Chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) (https://germany.acm.org/). He heads the Future Education activities of the German-French Academy for the Industry of the Future (https://future-industry.org/).
Marc-Oliver’s research focus is on a holistic approach to cybersecurity. He works on security-by-design, anomaly detection, human-in-the-loop, and automation. His goal is making cybersecurity manageable, resulting in highly resilient and reliable systems. Marc-Oliver publishes regularly in the network and service management and security communities.
