Institut Mines-Télécom’s industrial chair Cybersecurity for Critical Networked Infrastructures (cyberCNI.fr) held its bi-annual “Research Update” event on November 9, 2023, at the Airbus Defense and Space facility in Elancourt. The event brought together key industry members, experts, and researchers to discuss the latest advancements in cybersecurity for critical networked infrastructures.
Léo Lavaur and Yann Busnel hosted a tutorial on “Federated Learning × Security in Network Management” at the Networks of the Future conference 2023 in Izmir!
Our chairholder Marc-Oliver Pahl contributed an article to the whitebook around the “Lutte Contre les Manipulations de l’information”, “Fight against false information” of the Pôle d’Excellence Cyber (PEC).
At the beginning of June, our chairholder Marc-Oliver Pahl met with our collaborators from the Low Power & Secure Silicon (LPSS) Research Group at IMT Atlantique in Brest. We have a joint PhD student working on AI-based hardware-based anomaly detection for software running on RISC V processors.
End of May 2023, our chairholder Marc-Oliver Pahl was giving a keynote on “The technological millefeuille: from sensor security to data processing” at the International Symposium on Cybersecurity and IoT at the ESAIP engineering school.
Mid May, our chairholder Marc-Oliver Pahl visited Florida International University (#FIU) to exchange on current #research and future #collaborations.
Thanks for the great reception!
With its chairholder Marc-Oliver Pahl, the chaire Cybersécurité des Infrastructures Critiques participated at the research seminar of IMT Atlantique at the beginning of June 2023, leading to lots of fruitful exchanges that will materialize in even more collaborative research.
Our paper “Distributed Device-Specific Anomaly Detection for Resource-Constrained Devices” by Christian Lübben and Marc-Oliver Pahl won the NOMS 2023 demo award! The demo showed how anomaly detection can be distributed on multiple devices, allowing a low latency resource-efficient detection of anomalies. It was selected out of 9 demos from different actors from industry and academia. What a great success!
